What happens if my MSB registration is not approved?

AMLI offers a 100% guarantee that its registrations all get approved. However, if your FINTRAC or FinCEN MSB registration is not approved, you won't be billed for compliance services until it is. The deposit for CAMLO Essentials or BSA Officer services remains untouched and will not be applied.

The MSB registration process typically takes 8 to 12 weeks with FINTRAC, and can vary for FinCEN depending on the completeness of your documentation and response times from the regulator.

Will AMLI help me open a bank account?

Support for bank account setup is not included in the Free MSB Launch Bundle. However, AMLI can provide guidance and introductions to banking partners and crypto-friendly financial institutions at no additional cost, in both Canada and the USA.
AMLI also helps ensure your MSB compliance program meets the standards banks expect, which will significantly increase your chances.

Do you guarantee MSB registration approval?

Yes, AMLI guarantees your FINTRAC or FinCEN MSB registration will be approved when you participate in the Free MSB Launch Bundle.
If your application is not successful despite following our process, your full deposit is refunded. AMLI stands by its expertise and only works with clients it's confident it can support to approval.

Can I cancel the CAMLO Essentials / BSA Officer plan after registration?

No, the CAMLO Essentials plan (Canada) and BSA Officer plan (USA) are mandatory six-month commitments. Early cancellation is not permitted under the terms of the Free MSB Launch Bundle.
This structure ensures each MSB is launched with a complete compliance foundation and ongoing regulatory support. The compliance engagement begins one month after your MSB registration is approved by FINTRAC or FinCEN.
Until then, no compliance fees are charged. Your deposit is held securely and only applied once you are officially registered as a Money Services Business.

Who is eligible for the Free MSB Launch Bundle?

This bundle is built for founders and established companies launching real Money Services Businesses in Canada or the United States — such as crypto platforms, payment processors, remittance services, etc.
We only accept applicants who are ready to operate, comply, and build sustainably. Shelf MSB resellers and passive holders will be declined.

How much does CAMLO Essentials or the BSA Officer plan cost per month?

While we cannot disclose exact pricing publicly, exact fees are discussed during the discovery call and shared under NDA. Do I need a Canadian director/partner or U.S. entity structure to register an MSB?

For Canada: it depends on the province of registration. In British Columbia, you do not need a Canadian citizen or local partner to register an MSB with FINTRAC. For the USA: FinCEN registration requirements vary by state and business structure.
AMLI supports both Canadian and international founders in either jurisdiction. This bundle includes a business address and helps meet all physical presence requirements.
