Senior Consultant
AML Incubator is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Consultant to support complex financial crime, regulatory compliance, and risk management engagements across fintech, crypto, and regulated financial institutions. This role is designed for a seasoned compliance professional who brings strong regulatory judgment, hands-on investigative experience, and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical, scalable compliance solutions. The Senior Compliance Consultant will work on high-impact assignments involving enhanced due diligence (EDD), regulatory interpretation, policy development, and compliance program optimization. While a recognized compliance certification is required, emphasis is placed on real-world expertise, analytical depth, and the ability to operate confidently in evolving regulatory environments.

As our client base continues to grow, AML Incubator is expanding its consulting team and is seeking a Senior Compliance Consultant to support high-impact compliance engagements across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks.
Role Overview
The Senior Compliance Consultant will play a key role in delivering advisory and execution-focused compliance services to AML Incubator clients. This position is suited for an experienced compliance professional with strong regulatory judgment, hands-on investigative experience, and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into effective operational controls.
The successful candidate will manage complex AML/CTF matters, support compliance program development, and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal and client-facing compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct enhanced due diligence (EDD), transaction monitoring reviews, and complex financial crime investigations

Interpret and apply relevant regulatory frameworks, including PCMLTFA, MiCA, FATF guidance, and other applicable AML/CTF standards

Support the design, drafting, review, and enhancement of compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls

Prepare high-quality reports, case summaries, risk assessments, and audit-ready documentation

Monitor regulatory developments and support the implementation of new or evolving regulatory obligations

Advise clients and internal stakeholders on regulatory expectations, risk mitigation strategies, and best practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance gaps and ensure remediation actions are effectively executed

Support internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives related to AML/CTF risks, regulatory changes, and investigative techniques
Qualifications & Experience

4–7+ years of experience in AML, KYC, sanctions, fraud, or broader financial crime compliance roles

Professional compliance certification such as CAMS, CFCS, ICA, CRCM, or equivalent

Strong investigative, analytical, and critical-thinking skills with experience handling high-complexity cases

In-depth understanding of AML/CTF regulatory frameworks, including PCMLTFA, MiCA, FATF, and related legislation

Demonstrated ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear, practical operational procedures

Experience working with compliance technology, monitoring tools, or data analysis platforms

High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
